Indonesia Tsunami Appeal
Even though the damage caused by Indonesia Earthquake and Tsunami is not in the news headlines anymore. However, the effects caused by this earthquake and tsunami are still the same for the people living in the country. Unite 4 Humanity is continuing it’s Indonesia Tsunami Appeal, until our local and UK team feels that the lives of people of Indonesia has come to some sort of normality.
Help Us Save The Children
In every natural disaster its the children who gets most affected. We can help them though! Support U4H’s Indonesia Tsunami Appeal and you can save the Indonesian Children.
Children in Indonesia are going through some tough times due to the devastation caused by earthquakes. Over 2,000 have lost their lives in 2018 natural disasters. The ones who have survived the disaster have seen at least one member of their family losing their life.
As well as the physical damage, children have been psychologically disturbed by the continuous earthquakes and tsunamis.
Children affected by natural disasters urgently need life-saving support and supplies, such as clean water, to stop the spread of deadly diseases and prevent further loss of life.
How will My Donation Help Children?
Unite 4 Humanity always give orphans, widows and elderly the priority when delivering the aid. Part of our policy of delivering any aid is to always give priority to families with young children.
Whilst we would want and like to help everyone affected by the natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis, it is not possible to help everyone.
U4H always take the safety and wellbeing of children very seriously.
When delivering aid, we give priority to children who have…
- Lost their homes
- Sleeping rough
- and those who have been separated from their families
We’re helping children and families financially as well as with community projects like clean drinking water and food.
What have We Done to Help Indonesia Tsunami Victims?

Story of Ahmed Zabir – Indonesia Tsunami Appeal
Ahmed is Unite 4 Humanity’s Senior Trustee. Since Ramadan Ahmed has single handedley carried out charity work in Pakistan, Kashmir, Morocco, Uganda, Sierra Leone and many other countries across the world.
He was on a well deserved break on the Island of Lombok in August. Just two days before he was going to leave the country, the earthquake struck the region.
He saw the carnage with his own eyes. He saw people losing their lives in front their loved ones.
In Ahmed’s words, “It felt like a scene from a movie but unfortunately, I was in there and it was all real.”
Instead of leaving the island Ahmed got in touch with U4H’s head office and setup the Emergency Fund Appeal. Since then we have raised over £7,000 and have been given £30,000 by our other charities to help the victims of Earthquake and Tsunami.
