Housing for the needy
Shelter protects you from the sun, insects, wind, rain, snow and hot or cold temperatures. It also gives you a feeling of being safe. In some parts of the world, your need for shelter may take precedence over your need for food and possibly even your need for water.
Unite 4 Humanity are proud to be able to initiate significant and enriching changes in the lives of so many of the World’s poor communities. Over the years we have provided these people either with temporary shelters or permanent housing.
Unite 4 Humanity strongly believes in equality and the fact that having a safe roof above the head is for everyone, boy or girl, man or woman, rich or poor.
Project Shelter has been launched to raise awareness and funds to continue existing and setup new shelter projects.
As part of project shelter Unite 4 Humanity sponsor the building or repairing of houses for widows in Africa, Morocco and Pakistan. We realise that it is often difficult for women with children, who have lost their husbands, to feed their family as well as keep their house in good condition.
Our contacts in these countries communicate to us, providing us with details of widows who are either in need of a new house or need repair work carrying out to their existing house. Our team will carry out a survey and assess the situation and if it is within our financial reach and we feel that there is great need to provide these funds, then we will allocate the funds to the housing project for widows.
With our 100% donation policy every penny you’ll donate towards our Project Shelter, we will use these funds towards the following
