Help Us Build Community Water Wells

Water is one of the most important ingredients for a human to survive. So much so, water is the source of life. Communities flourish when people living in those communities drink clean water and eat nutritional food.

Right now, there are over a billion people in the world who don’t have access to clean drinking water. This is equivalent of 1 in 8 people living on the earth.

Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Unite 4 Humanity - 100% Donation Policy Charity receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

Poverty Originates from Illnesses

Many illnesses, diseases and epidemics start from not having access to clean drinking water, poor hygiene and lack of access to proper toilets. When a family or a community do not have access to these basic facilities, coming out of poverty is almost impossible for them.

U4H is Working to Eradicate Water Poverty

Alhamdulillah, with the help from Allah and generous donations from Muslims in the UK, Since 2012, we have been able to build hundreds of water wells/pumps in Pakistan, Kashmir, Bangladesh, Yemen and Africa.

When you sponsor a water pump or a water well, you are not only providing a community with clean drinking water, rather you’re changing lives for better. Children drinking water from these wells will live healthy lives and therefore will be able to contribute better in society.

We believe that every child should have a bright future ahead of him/her and every human should have access to clean drinking water.

U4H Volunteers Doing their Bit for Building Water Wells

Our team loves building schools, orphanages, Masjids and water wells. Our volunteers regularly organise events to raise money for this community water wells.

In recent event they climbed England’s highest mountain Scafell Pike, Lake District to raise money for a community water well in Azad Kashmir near LOC. We need £2,500 in total to build this community well. This water well will provide clean drinking water to over 100 families living in the area.

Imagine you and your loved ones receiving a great reward from Allah, every time someone drinks or perform wudu from the water you’ve supplied. Therefore, this is a golden opportunity to earn a reward.

Many donors donate specifically to help us cover administration costs. For any shortfall, we use money from Gift Aid claim. We don’t employ anyone, therefore no salaries.

Help us grow your donation!

If you are a UK taxpayer, then please choose the option of Gift Aid when making the donation. This way we will be able to claim an extra 25% from the UK Government on top of your donated amount. This extra 25% will help us cover all the administration and marketing costs. Any leftover money will be invested in projects with a shortfall in their funding.
